I love your blog and it’s saved me from making a mistake grabbing the string set from Aria Sounds, lol. I just wanted to mention that in the past Soundtoys has sold their bundle for ~130 USD, which is like 20 plugins like Devil-Loc, in which case it’s quite a steal. It’s not very versatile, but a great tool for specific things. (even saw CLA using it in some of his mixes, which I thought was kind of cool!)

Thanks for doing this! I don’t have a lot of money to use, so this seemed like a no brainer deal, but after reading and hearing the examples i feel you took responsibility that the developer didn’t – this kind of q faulty product shouldn’t be on the market. Especially when you can’t try these before buying them. So thank you again!

I’ve found the same thing, particularly with the viola. I’ve recorded a string quartet and it’s all tolerable with the exception of the viola which seems to constantly glitch – I mean it plays a note then plays it ad infinitum until you purge the sound. It seems to be eighth notes that cause the problem, it can’t seem to cut off the note before it plays the next one.
